Jaime Rose Chambers (B.Nutr&Diet) is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist. With a lifelong passion for food and cooking, when it came to choosing her vocational path as chef or Doctor, Jaime decided to combine the two. Now as a Dietitian, Jaime treats her patient’s medical conditions with nutrition and lifestyle.

Jaime sees her patients at Professor Kerryn Phelps’ Cooper Street Clinic in Double Bay and The Bourke Street Clinic in Surry Hills. She treats patients with a wide range of conditions that include overweight and obesity, high cholesterol and blood pressure, diabetes and pre-diabetes, food allergies and intolerances, polycystic ovarian syndrome and cancers.

Jaime spent six years as the Nutrition Leader for the NSW Government project Go4Fun, which targets overweight and obese children aged seven to 13. Both parents and children attend the program and it involves a combination of exercise and activity sessions twice a week as well as nutrition and behavioural education. She also spent three years consulting to Eat Fit Food, a gourmet meal delivery service as their head of nutrition & wellness, creating recipes and food products, nutritionally analysing the meals and developing and running the wellness programs.

Jaime has a special interest in prostate and breast cancer and is strongly affiliated with the Prostate Cancer Centre at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Jaime regularly speaks with and educates at support groups for individuals with prostate and breast cancer as well as at corporate seminars on various nutrition topics. Jaime is a regular nutrition contributor and commentator for publications such as Australian Women’s Weekly, Body + Soul online, Cleo and Cosmopolitan Magazine and appears on shows such as healthyMEtv, Today Tonight and A Current Affair.

Most recently, Jaime has co-authored ‘The Mystery Gut’ book with her colleagues Dr. Claudia Lee and Prof. Kerryn Phelps and her first solo book, ‘16:8 Intermittent Fasting’ was published in January 2019. She is currently working on the second edition to that book now with publication planned for early 2021.
