Practical, relevant, and interactive, this session helps everyone to increase their awareness of our differences so they can work more effectively together.
In a frank discussion that brings much clarity, Lynne identifies four different types of human behaviour, showing how each of us have our natural preferences in how we behave, both good and not so good. Participants will learn what their own preferences are, whether Apple, Lime, Mango or Banana, and how to modify their own behaviour to work more effectively with each other.
The use of Fruit has had great success due to its simplicity. In a time when we are bombarded with information, we need knowledge that is easily digested and remembered.
Fruit personalities:
- help us understand others to drive better results
- creates a simple, fun and blameless language to use when facing challenging situations
Lynne's presentation gives people permission to be themselves while providing valuable tools to influence those around them, creating less stress and greater productivity.
For the keynote presentation everyone completes a Fruit profile to determine which preference they are and we work through characteristics of each, both good and those that may cause challenges. It's a lot of fun as people see where others sit and realise why they may have had issues in the past. This leads into discussions on how we can work better with each other and those around us.
If extended to a half day presentation we can either do a team building exercise that demonstrates using strengths of each Fruit OR just work with the leaders who can profile their own direct reports and we workshop how to best motivate and influence them.
Lynne also has a book Bite Me! and other do's and don'ts of dealing with our differences, available for purchase to support her content.
Your audience will walk away with tools to:
- recognise different types of behaviour
- increased skill to influence those not like yourself
- increased understanding of the impact of workplace differences
