Kristen Hansen is the founder of EnHansen Performance providing executive, leadership and sales coaching and training utilising the latest neuroscience research. Following 20 years as a Sales Manager for major Australian companies, Kristen now develops executives from companies such as Google, Allianz, Westpac, ANZ Bank as well as from various state and local government organisations and international clients.

Her focus on leadership emerged from holding leadership positions for over 20 years in large Australian corporations including Bonds, News Ltd and Fairfax. Early in her career, at 23, she was seconded to be the Project Manager, working with the Managing Director for the Sydney 2000 Olympic bid – the successful tender worth $45 million.

Her leadership and coaching skills were forged as Sales Manager for the Herald & Weekly Times in Melbourne, managing a team of 18 sales executives ranging dramatically in age and experience. After this and a role as Advertising Manager with Fairfax, Kristen trained as a coach because she recognised the powerful benefits of coaching people rather than purely managing them. She returned to News Limited as Training Manager and Coach to 140 sales executives and managers.

EnHansen Performance now provides leadership, sales and performance related training and coaching utilising the latest neuroscience and emotional intelligence research. These proven strategies enhance performance in areas such as coaching, motivation, influence, resilience, adaptability and problem solving.

Kristen has a Bachelor of Business with Marketing Major, a Diploma of Human Resource Management Consulting, is accredited in DiSC and Emotional Intelligence testing, and is currently studying for a Masters in Neuroscience of Leadership with Middlesex Uni, UK.

Kristen lives in Pymble, Sydney with her family and travels throughout Australia and Asia with her business.

I worked with Kristen recently and she presented an intricate and thought-provoking session on “Neuroscience of Talent Management and Leadership” at the 3rd Annual Global HR Excellence Conference 2014, Singapore. Kristen Hansen presented at our Specialty Fashion Group Annual Leadership Conference to 85 leaders. The topic was The Neuroscience of Leadership (NeuroLeadership TREAD) and it was informative, entertaining and rich with practical strategies to lift engagement, improve decision making and stress regulation as well as develop and coach others. Kristen’s style was engaging, humorous and influential and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We really benefited from understanding more about how the brain works and how we can be better leaders as a result. What impressed us was that she was able to relate to many different levels of management in the room all at the one time keeping pace with the fast thinkers and bringing those along who needed more assistance. During all of this she never lost the audience’s attention. Neuroleadership presentation at the Specialty Fashion Group Leadership Conference. Such was her impact, people are still referring to the material presented and using it in the daily work life (and personal lives).
