Kaia Wright’s world is full of exciting diversions.
When she’s not performing her ambassadorial duties for beauty brand Golden 8, she’s applying her creative talents at a Darwin advertising agency where she works and, when time permits, accompanies her husband Matt Wright – the star of the international adventure television series Outback Wrangler – on some of his incredible location journeys.
And, with any spare time remaining, she’s helping co-write Matt’s next life experience book being published by Penguin Random House.
The Wrights, who met in Western Australia and married after a whirlwind courtship, live on a big block of land in the Northern Territory with their 18-foot pet crocodile Tripod, three pigs Pepsi, Truffle and Cola, two dingoes Ernie and Albie, seven snakes and a menagerie of green tree frogs.
Matt’s work relocating animals, as a crocodile egg collector and helicopter pilot on his Nat Geo television show takes the couple to some of the most remote landscapes in the world.
And for Kaia, who grew up in Broome and Derby in Western Australia’s incredible Kimberley country, the lifestyle she shares with Matt couldn’t be any more perfect. They both love what they do and feel blessed to live in the natural beauty of outback Australia.
Kaia completed her high school education in Perth before moving to Sydney to study for her Bachelor of Media Communications in Journalism. Fortunately, she’s now able to put her writing skills to good use across a number of creative platforms.
