Jessica Spendlove is a leading authority on sustainable performance and wellbeing. An international keynote speaker, author and executive performance and wellbeing coach, she helps ambitious individuals and teams perform at their best today, while protecting their capacity to keep performing tomorrow and for the long run.
Jess has spent her career working with some of the world’s highest performers across elite sport, defence and business. She built and led performance nutrition programs across seven professional sporting teams, including the GWS Giants AFL and AFLW, Cronulla Sharks, Sydney Kings, GIANTS Netball, NSW Waratahs and Western Sydney Wanderers. She has worked with Olympic medallists and world champions and has consulted to Australian Special Operations for the past seven years.
Today, Jess brings insights, lessons and stories from these high-pressure environments to leaders, executive teams and organisations navigating demanding workloads, growth and change. Her clients include YPO, AirTree Ventures, PEXA, Guzman y Gomez and the Australian Defence Force Special Operations Command. Drawing on science, more than 15 years of experience working with high performers, and her own lived experience of burnout and recovery, Jess understands the demands of high performance from both sides. She translates complex research into practical strategies that help people build the energy, capacity and recovery required to perform sustainably, even on their busiest days and most demanding seasons.
Jess is the author of For the Long Run: Build Your Daily Operating System for Energy, Recovery and Wellbeing, published by Wiley, and host of the Stay at the Top podcast. She holds a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and is an Associate with Monash University Corporate Education. Across elite sport, defence and the corporate world, the environments may change, but the principles of sustainable performance remain the same. Ultimately, Jess’s work is about helping people succeed, not at the expense of their wellbeing, but because of it.
