On the surface, Alan has lived many lives. He has been a guide in the Himalayas; designed and led a team-building at an eco-resort on Ambergris Caye, Belize; he has been a CEO of some of Australia’s most awarded marketing agencies and as a consultant and advisor helps some of the world’s most recognisable brands and businesses find growth in a world and in markets where change is the only constant.
Beneath the surface, Alan’s life is directed by two of his guiding principles, to live present and to live a life of purpose.
Through his unique lens on Purpose and experience with international businesses, Alan works across a broad cross-section of the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds. He advises Boards, CEOs, Entrepreneurs and Social Entrepreneurs on how to grow their revenues, impact, culture and brands by finding and living their Purpose.
When not in boardrooms and conferences talking about Purpose, Alan spends his time inspiring children and adults to experience the transformative power of living present. Alan’s commitment to living and helping others find balance and clarity finds him speaking, running workshops and public events on Presence around the world.
Currently, Alan is also living one of his own dreams, helping school children live their highest dreams and adults to remember and return to theirs through the messages in The Jar of Dreams, a novel that came to him in a dream half-way up a mountain in the Himalayas.
Alan’s speaking is built around deep connection with his audience and in helping them to discover how Purpose and Presence can help transform their businesses and lives.
